As a Carbon Expert, you'll join our team at HQ in Oslo and contribute to the development of our innovative and successful SaaS solution. Working closely with our product, leadership, and international teams, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Our goal is clear: democratize carbon emissions data and create AI-powered climate solutions to cool the planet, empowering every company to move toward a net zero future.
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Own and update the product's carbon footprint models and emission factor approach.
• Ensure high-quality solutions by calculating emissions using various approaches.
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and external auditors to improve and verify models.
• Engage external parties to align with Energi.AI's international strategy.
• Conduct research and collect carbon emissions data from diverse sources.
• Undertake verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) and other GHG projects.
• Stay updated on the latest carbon calculations and reporting developments.
• Demonstrate expertise in GHG protocol verification activities.

As a critical player in our net-zero emissions goals, you'll design and develop AI systems while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Your deep understanding of technical and business requirements will help deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications and skills:
 

• GHG Emissions Calculation
• Carbon Assessment
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
• Familiarity with reporting frameworks like ESRS, GHG, SBTi, TCFD
• Ability to align corporate goals with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Climate Change Risk Assessment
• Motivated team player capable of independent work initiation
• Efficient multitasker with attention to detail and quality
• Fluent in English
